I think you will find it even worse with a tritoon. The water doesn't have any where to go, so it goes up. Mine shoots water out the back like a fire hydrant. I would not own a toon without a waive shield!

I was told it is a no go due to the frame not being designed to handle the pressure of the 4 step ladder. I just opted for the whole 4 step assembly platform and all for $465. I am going to try to sell the old platform for half of the cost of a new one.
