I installed a baystar system in my boat went from cable to it. Took about an hr from start to finish.
The hard part was removing the stuck cable. And the old steering wheel it was stuck. I have a Bennington 2275 cs
With 90 hp. For my use I got baystar works great and a tad cheaper.
Has anybody installed carpet in their bennington with out removing the funiture.
My Bennington run great , seats ok floors Rock solid but the carpet looks Yuck. I am in a wet slip with out trailer.
So I am thinking of putting new carpet down the easy way lol.

The really good cleaning made the big difference. But I put a new radio in and speakers , moved my vhf to it, and lowrance to,it.
I added dual batteries and switch and fuel water separator. And now baystar. .......
Well I now know why my steering was so stiff. The lube in the steering tube has dry and caked up.
We started the baystar install at about 4 finished about 6 something. We lost about an hr getting the cable steering out and breaking frozen nuts .
Since its out the water I get to clean...

Yeah I picked baystar I have a 90hp. On a 2001 2275 center console. The bay star will take me up to 150 hp. Buy I have no plans ever to go that high never ever. Lol.
