    New Anchor

Thanks for the input! I now feel like I have been to a graduate course in anchors! :)  Really gave me a good feel on what I need to do. Based on what tcpip95 said, I am probably going to stay with a Danforth with 3/8 150 ft of rode and a 6-8 ft chain. I think that will continue to work for me...

    New Anchor

At the end of last season my anchor got stuck to the point that I had to cut rode and leave my Danforth anchor and 6' of chain on the bottom of Lake Wylie. Any suggestions for a 23' Benny as to replacement anchor? I am looking to size, type and length of rode. Lake Wylie generally does not get...

HydroHoist Lift for Tritoon with Elliptical System

I converted my 2000 Hydrohoist from a Cobalt V-Hull configuration to my Bennington Tri-Toon  with ESP. I just have 3 sets of parallel carpet covered bunks and it works great. It is supporting a 250 hp Yamaha on the center toon  as well. Fairly inexpensive retro by my hoist service people. Good...

Cover Rear of Boat and Motor in Wet Slip

My boat sits on a lift in a covered slip but the rear hangs out by about 2 ft. I always keep the mooring cover on and had a canvas guy  attach with a zipper additional sunbrella canvas. It snaps at the back of the boat and covers the ladder and entire rear deck.We also bought a cover for the 250...

Moving Forward: Sorry for the late response, I have been out of it for weeks. Have you decided to go to Lake Norman at this point? I boated Norman for years in my pre-pontoon life and enjoyed it immensely.  We were drawn to the northwest corner of the lake and kept our boat at Lake Norman Marina...

Flooring help again! Dark holly aquateak or seagrass

Bought our boat off dealer's floor and it came with sea grass. 90% of the time we love it but iif it is in the direct sun it ican be blazing hot on bare feet.

    2015 2275 GCW-Mooring Cover Question?

I had my dealer add the front Bimini after delivery and they had the canvas shop install flaps/cutouts for the front brackets. It looks and works great and I leave the Bimini in the upright position with cover on.

Is Express Peformance Package Center Tube At Same Level As Outside Tubes & Does It Need To Be Suppor

I agree...I added a third set of bunks to my lift (hydrohoist) to support the middle tube. I have  the ESP with tube storage and am running a Yami 250. I just feel better with the additional support. Good luck!!

    New Owner, few questions

I have the same model/year boat as you with a Yamaha 250. I used to have a Cobalt 246 on my lift and you definitely need to convert to three sets of bunks to support the middle tube. That is important due to all of the weight of the motor on the center tube needs the support. Good luck with...
