A smaller boat isn't going to ride better in chop.  A 1' shorter boat isn't going to help you dock it any easier.  Instead of taking a big depreciation hit on a brand new boat, why not maybe invest in some professional docking lessons?  At least in my area that is a guy that is a licensed boat...

Spray Sunscreen - remove from boat exterior

I have two orange stain marks on the vinyl on my boat.  Bought it used, couldn't figure out why in the heck I had two orange stains that won't come out.  Thanks for solving this mystery for me!

    2011 Bennington 2575 R Stern lounge I/O

You mean boats don't only lose a few hundred dollars a year??   lol   It too me almost two years to find a reasonably priced boat.  I'm in the car business and I'm used to seeing premium vehicle take a hard depreciation hit the first 3 years (roughtly 50%).   I will never understand why boats...

    After 7 months of planning.

We've had plenty of fun tubing behind a 60hp pontoon!  Not everyone likes to be pulled fast on the tube, and for those that have never ridden a tube before, the 60hp is plenty to get them smiling.

    Used 2275GCW Purchase Disaster

I think you should file an insurance claim and let your insurance company do the dirty work for you.  They're good at getting their money back.

What is the Difference Between an SL 21 and an SX 21?

I understand your frustration but I have to wonder if the price were the same, your timing the same, but it was tagged as a 2014 would you still be upset? It's frustrating, but manufacturers and dealers have to sell old stock before they produce and load up on new stock. I don't feel it's...

    Bennington Dealer Show

What's going on with the two pics of the red Q and the black Q?  Diamond shaped pontoons for about the last 1/4 length of the pontoon?  Anybody have info on this?  Have they always been like this and I never noticed or is this something new?

Covered under the 7 year warranty?

That looks like accidental damage from a passenger, not damage from a defective seat. Just like your car warranty won't fix a cracked windshield from a rock hitting it, your warranty won't cover accidental damage to a seat cushion.

    Oh the PADs...

Torque is what gets things moving and helps with heavy loads.  To think of it in the extreme, semi trucks have very high torque but comparatively low horsepower.  Being that you're going so heavy, I'd bet that the V6 will be at a lower RPM than the 4 cylinder given the same MPH.

    Oh the PADs...

Go for it!  If you order new you have two years of price increases vs the 2013 and he's at a great price on the 2013.  Plus, you'll avoid the hassle of having to sell your boat on your own.  Really helps that the new boat has the three big options you wanted, F200, tri toon, and in floor storage

    Bravo 3 outdrive squeeking

Any authorized Mercury dealer can do warranty work on a Mercury. Sounds like you have a Mercury related warranty issue and not a Bennington issue, I wouldn't drive 4 hrs.

Why are used prices so high?

Spinzone, your comment regarding financing makes the most sense I've ever heard for why used boat prices in general are so high.   Most luxury goods, like high end televisions, furniture, clothes, shoes, etc. don't hold their value at all, but they aren't financed with a traditional loan with a...
