Thank you Tom! That's exactly what I was looking for. I just spent the last two hours relocating the starboard battery to port under the lounger with the other one. I am much more limited on space because I have the fuel cell under the port lounger too. I set it up so I have about 12"X14"...
Well I'm not crazy, at least on this issue. At the port side battery there are some holes to in the floor where something had been removed. According to the build sheet from Bennington this boat was built with the power distribution center and a duel battery switch. They have been removed along...
New to me 2013 2575 RCW, with duel battery's under the loungers, one port the other starboard. I have looked through the electrical schematics here and they show a battery switch. I cannot for the life of me find it.......
I have looked under the loungers, in all compartments, even pulled...
Can anyone that has the factory led side lights tell me if the wiring connects at the stern or does it go to the console (helm) from the center of the boat, meaning the leds would be connected at the middle of the pontoon and run fore and aft?
The reason I ask is that the 2013 RCW we just...
Does anyone know what manufacturer Bennington uses for their underwater lights? The 2013 RCW we just bought has them but it looks like someone may have replaced one with a white led. Port is white, starboard is blue.
I think it would look much better with both blue and all the...
It appears to be right on according to my Garmin that I took off my other boat. 18-19 mph with two occupants. Not bad for a big boat with a little motor. Of course the more bodies on board the slower we go. So far very happy with it.
I did already price re-powering...
Two toon. Just figured it out though with help from the prop forum. The tach was set up for the wrong pulse/cylinders. Changed the settings on the back side of the tach and it's right on now. Good to go.
Thanks, Dean
YAHTZEE! Just enough daylight left and with a flashlight I crawled under the helm and changed the tach settings. It is now reading 5500 RPM exactly at WOT. So I would venture to say it's propped correctly.
Makes me wonder though if there was a much larger engine on the boat at...
That is what I thought. No typo. The motor sounds about right at WOT. Going to have to look into that but I agree, we were surprised how well that little motor did pushing such a large platform.
Otherwise absolutely love the comfort and quality of the boat! Even if we end up...
That is what I thought when we looked at the boat. I posted some questions about that in the prop thread. Not sure why it was ordered that way but I went on the build site and you can order that same boat with a 50 hp!
The price was right and as I told my wife we can always re-power...
