What kind or model boat do you have...I dont think i would be doing any kind of grinding on the transom untill i had someone else more qualified to check things out on the mounting of your motor...
What does anyone use to polish or wax the panels and helms on your toons ? Is there any particular brand that is better that does not show water spots ,,,Thank you :D
Right on that is what i did to every boat trailer i have owned. That is what the adjustment is for ...Nothing wrong with the other remedies except greases draws dust, dirt etc and that can lead to other problems down the road as well as getting all over ones clothes etc.
I bought 3 Boatbuckles from my dealer ...You can also get them at Cabelas or Gander montain they have 2" nylon ratchet straps and a rubberized hook ...Just pull out the strap hook the eye in the toon and tighten down ...Unhook them and they retract back in the body works great for me I fastened...
i wonder if the pump where you fill up at is calbrated right... you never know anymore....take a 1 or 2 gal.gas can with you and do a bucket check ...run in a gallon and see what the pump says you have...would not be the first time the calibration got out of whack....SOMEHOW...
Need some in formation on boat lifts .I am looking for information on a lift for my 2575RCW .Does anyone here have 1 and if so what is your preferance on brand or model any info is appreciated....Thanks
Has anuone applied trailer slides on the bunks for easy on & off. If so what brand and how many or how close did you install them or have them installed to bunks.... B)
I did not know how lucky i was untill i read this thread...I have a deal with my dealer that he stores it inside year round and all i need to do is call him and he will drop it in the river and when i am done he will pick it up and back in storage...I have my own trailer and may or may not use...
Not to worry about that, i think it is easier than my other v bottm boats...The wind can give you fits sometimes but common sense will prevail... B) Leave the bunks out far enough to be able to see them...drive on crank it up and slowly pull her out ...Really not that bad...Have a great season....
