It has 62 hours on the engine, prop is in good condition, has not hit anything. Will have to wait till spring for the dealer to hear it. Just thought you guys might have experienced it here.
I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem before? We have noticed under full load we are getting a loud popping/gurgling noise coming from the engine area. We have a 2014 sl20 with a 70hp Yamaha. Under light load there is no popping noise. Only when loaded. I took a video of it, but the wind...
The dealer replaced the playpen cover and our Bimini boot under warranty. Now I just have to install the snaps on the cover. Thankfully my dealer shipped the tool with the cover. Guess I should treat the covers too.
We bought a Bennington sl20 last spring, and the playpen cover is not even close to being water resistant. After a rain there is water in the cup holders, carpet and seats are soaked. I treated it with 303 fabric guard as per surlast care instructions. It did not help. The Bimini boot is so...
The boat was bought brand new in June. 2015. The dealer said to do a water test and video it. Then send it to him. As even he said it should keep majority of the water out. Surlast said to him they are water resistant not waterproof.
I've noticed that even with the playpen cover on and tensioned properly, the boat is soaked after it rains. I've treated the cover with 303 fabric guard, and it still is soaked enough that the cup holders in the table are full of water?
Any suggestions?
I did some research, turns out the garmin 100 series will go into demo mode if the transducer isn't plugged in properly. If it senses no transponder when power is turned on it will automatically start in demo. I will have to check when I get back up to the cottage.
Does anyone else find that the fish finder that comes on these boats find fish all the time? I can be going thru a shallow area by my dock and this fish finder will show lots of fish even though there are not any to be seen.
Our boat sticks out about 3 feet past the end of the dock, and we are in the lane way going to the fuel pump. Unfortunately boats coming down the lane between the docks are pushed by the current right into the back of the boat. I'm going to buy a 1-1/2 " aluminum piping and have it bent to go...
