      Hello, Sir.

I saw your posts on this particular thread:

And I like the idea you have shared with the forum.  I agree with you, it's simpler than adding the entire Blue Sea kit with the switch, and I like simple...and effective.

My question is, do you have any photos of your setup, and any further comments on what I should or should not do when doing my install?  I have a 2016 22SSLX with an F115 Yamaha that has a 35 amp alternator system.

Thanks for your time and help!

Sorry, just saw this. I'll take some pics next time I'm on the boat.

No problem.  I've been on the Blue Sea site doing the research, and am not sure of the benefit of adding the red switch when the proper ACR would seem to do the trick for adding a second "house" battery.

I may be making more out of it than I should, but I want to be sure I am as informed as I can get before I do it an make a mistake.

        Thanks again,

I figured I could always add the switch later if I wanted to. Haven't seen a need to do so so far. It's been several years since I put it in.

How can I find the article you wrote comparing the 150 to the 115?

I'll find out for you tomorrow. I use Google to find stuff on this forum. The search feature here is almost worthless.

Thank you, it was a great article!  I want my wife to read it in the hopes it will sway her to agree to spending the extra money.
