I am not sure what my “FYI” think is?! Might have typed that in my sleep.
GNC, I thought it may have been the prop also so that was the first thing I checked. Even ran a couple of different props. When we took the boat to the prop shop and spun the prop on the motor, you could actually see...
Yep. Checked the prop and that is all good. Checked the propshaft and that was off. Initially gave me He “never heard of that before” routine but are going to replace it under warranty since I communicated (and documented it) from the day I took the boat out.
FYI, make sure your j sueance h
from the minute I put my boat into the water I noticed a vibration. The salesman came out and went for a ride and said he didn’t really notice. Made sure the prop was balanced but vibration persisted. Finally brought it into a local prop shop. they checked the propshaft and note is was off...
I just reviewed the warranty on my new Bennington. There is no exclusion for the stereo thus it is covered under the 10 year warranty (which is what I was told). This is why I went with the “best” stereo available and didn’t have my friend work the upgrade. A 10 year warranty on the stereo is...
The issue in messing with the Roswell system is that it will void the warranty. I checked since I have a good friend who owns an audio video store so I thought I would tweek the Roswell set up. Unfortunately, everything is pre-set and thus even adjusting the amp can apparently void the...
I schmoozed my salesman! This was my 3rd toon with him and I have referred several buyers so he does some favors for me. Tell your salesman to get you a set from Bennington.
My salesman (Kirk) did supply tie down straps when I bought my toon and trailer (wish I would have known that)! They are good quality and He even trimmed them all to length for me!
80% more for 100% more fun (at least that’s what I tell myself)!
I also acquired extra Bennington logos and...
Cover works with Lilly pad in place. Just can’t snap the 1-2 cover snaps in the very rear
My 9 and 14 year old already love it and they haven’t even used it yet! Just think of how much more fun it will be when they can!
Congrats on the pick up of your new toon! It really is chaos around Miller right now with all the pontoons and being a month behind on spring they are way behind on deliveries. By the way, who was your salesperson?
And yes, it is an old walmart. It is actually not their showfloor, it is for...
So, on Sunday April 22nd we finally had the "ice out" on the Mississippi!!!
To celebrate, I picked up my new RCW I ordered before thanksgiving (had been sitting at the dealer since January!). Supposed to be 72 degrees on Sunday. I plan on putting the boat in for the day on Sunday and will try...
Dimensional chrome is the word "Bennington" in the photo from Jack M. My salesman got me a pair of "Bennington" chrome Dimensional for my trailer from Bennington. I didnt have to get them myself. I would ask your dealer/salesman to try to get them for you.
I think there is money to be made in starting a pontoon consultation company. It is scary spending what we do on pontoons and we really want to get it right. It looks to me you are building a really nice toon.
I agree with many above, especially Vikingstaff’s list.
*However, Not sold on the...
I had a Newmans then upgraded to a Floe VSD 5500 and love it. Smooth, quiet, and can function in much less water. They are probably a little more money than many out there but I think they are worth the difference. There are multiple top options including side extensions that really help keep...
If the dealer is willing, I would ask if they could simply set a Lilly Pad on your boat in various install locations to see what seems the best for you.
