I apologize but that is exactly what was said to me, I have never been or claim to be an engine mechanic/wrench spinner so this is why I posted. Perhaps someone here could correct the Service Managers explanation (he obviously will defer to the technician for the specific work to be done) as to...
They said they checked the fuel filter water separator. Today I got the bad news - the fuel injectors need to be cleaned so they said the top of the motor needs to be taken apart. They are going to order some parts. Was told cost is going to be 1900 or so for total job. Lucky me....
I have 2012 25Q and a 350 Mag with an I/O that keeps generating an alarm on the dash every 2-3 minutes. The boat was running fine for awhile till I could get it in for diagnosis at the Marina. They said the computer was generating a faulty fuel pump. So I left it for the week so they could fix...
Don't know if that story is true (I'm sure someone in the know will chime in soon) but FWIW I looked at SanPan's build quality, options available, overall boat looks wasn't even close to my review of my new Benne. I see you doubt what you've heard also with  and you have a Benne. I...
My new boat is still in the show room. I have been told the I/O handels like a dream. I like the idea of not looking at an outboard while in the rear facing seating.
Wow I'm in the same (----) situation coming out of a Scarab and wondering how this Benny is going to fit the bill. I bought a stock boat that is loaded and has double bimini. I figured when Dad goes out this will be a benefit. Otherwise I will probably remove front bimini for most cruises.
That 2275RCW in Red (shown on the brochure) is a sweet ride. Gotta love the look and layout. We have the rear controls on ours and are looking forward to using that while anchoring at various sand bars around the lake. Good luck with your new Benny.
Kaydano is correct the Premier Entertainer is a great boat. We saw it at the show, again not practical but in a few years I would look at somthing like that.
We were quoted 4-6 weeks if we ordered. I think your time frame is more realistic. It won't be long now. Congrats to you and enjoy your new beauty this summer.
I bought a stock boat recently - I did look at ordering and was told 4 to 6 weeks also
What a great build - Congrats and good luck with your new Bennington
Hi All, this seems like a great forum and place for Benne advice and support.
After many crusiers and sport boats as well purchasing our first waterfront last year, a Pontoon boat seems like the ticket for our entertaining style as well as no longer needing to stay aboard our boat we chose...
