I didn't snap any when it was off, but this installation video shows it in the various states while it's being installed
What's left after you unbolt it is just the flat metal brackets on the floor, here is the link to the kit I installed...
Took us just under an hour but we were taking our time and the boat was in the water which made it more difficult. If it was on a trailer it could be done in 20 minutes.
It says it will support 250lb, I'm 200 and a friend was 235lb and it held up fine, nothing moved and it felt solid while on...
Good idea, I (maybe mistakenly) figured the panel isn't standard size and has some round sides or weird shapes. Once I get it out it might be easier to just cut a replacement!
More expensive, I would have to measure if it would fit though, it looks like it would be close on the width and height with the other ports on the right.
I think I'm going to try and get that panel out, seal the front with tape and fill the holes with epoxy resin. Once that's cured I'll sand it smooth and either paint it all the same color or put a vinyl sheet over it. This should give me a smooth new surface to cut my hole in. Depending on the...
There is no cell reception, so streaming isn't an option. We've been downloading music and using BT but when we have guests they often don't want to hear the playlists we have downloaded so we use FM radio which is infected with stupid ads and static. We have no problem paying for satellite...
Purchased this one (https://www.crutchfield.com/p_917MSRA210/Fusion-MS-RA210.html?omnews=4079790) because we want satellite radio. I have some questions before I jump in.
Is there anything special I need to be concerned about regarding the wiring? I have the standard Kicker KMC1 with the...
Never heard of starboard, intersting. It seems like HDPE is cheaper and that would make for good shelving. Thanks
Thought about PVC but the look doesn't look great. I might use it for the changing area as its much cheaper but I like the aluminum look for where it's visible.
Yeah, that's what...
I'm hoping to solve two problems we're having, and I think using aluminum extrusions might work the best because their light, strong, weatherproof, and flexible. I'm looking for opinions or possible alternatives.
The first problem is our cooler and wasted space. We take the cooler and and store...
I love our box anchor but after two years we need a better way to store it. I'm thinking a nice looking tote bungied on the bow. Currently we have it in a big clear tote that we keep in the boat but it's always in the way.
interesting, so maybe if I can fill it it will correct itself? I tried to follow the fuel lines to see if there are kinks or anything but they go right under the deck and it's already in the water so I can't follow them.
Picked it up from the marina yesterday and they said it should be full as it was kicking back but the gauge must be stuck as it says 1/4. After cruising around yesterday the gauge now shows less than 1/8 so I'm now guessing something is up with the system that accepts the nozzle (what's this...
I want to put a wash down pump and ideally I can control it via one of the available switches but there are so many wires and it's unclear how to route wires that now I'm confused. There is an existing switch "live well" that's not in use but down work and is hooked up to power. I tried tracing...
