I've been told by another Bennington owner of a 2012 R series that the boats are shipped with nice cloth sheets covering the upholstery. I have a boat coming soon and they told me to request the cloth sheets be left in the boat.

I’ve been told that Bennington automatically applies Sharkhide at no cost when they do a winter build. Keeps the toons protected from salt and sand damage during shipping to the northern states. Can anyone verify this?
How important is a mooring cover? I’ll likely be in a covered lift while it’s in the water. I plan to have it shrink wrapped for winter storage. Very little trailering.
Are they a necessary option? Anyone not use theirs?
my Dealer has a 3k line item in our quote for “freight and dealer prep and rigging” He said his work would be mounting the engine, hydraulic steering, testing...etc.
Does that seem like a reasonable number?
