Owners manual for the KMC10 does not show any error codes/descriptions. Mine is a year old and went bad this summer, was promptly replaced by the dealer. If you take the silver frame piece off, there are 4 screws attaching it to the helm.

I just had to replace mine a couple of weeks ago. Dealer gave me a new one, I swapped it out and brought back the bad one. Couldn't of been easier. Mine lasted 1 season, bought our boat last year.

No gas on our lake, but premium is $3 a gallon at the station. I use (2) 5 gallon tanks and a siphon.

Go with the 150. Might want to see if they have room on the pricing though. 115 to a 150 was $1800 last year when I bought our boat.

Is it actually a Kicker KMC10? I just replaced mine this week, 1 year old because the buttons along the bottom quit working. Covered under warranty.

Sure beats stuffing a flip flop underneath to keep it open.
