Hello All,
I had a Bennington 8 years ago and sold it. Looking to get back into boating, and am deciding between then QX or a Cobalt R6. I just looked at a review on the I/O version for Bennington and it looked pretty cool. Anyone have any insight?
So I went out and purchased the small box anchor. I have a 2250 gbr and this weekend we had 15 mph winds. I was somewhat disappointed. Yes the anchor did hold fairly well and caught quickly but with 15 mph winds we still dragged a bit and had to reset a couple times due to the amount of anchored...
Had my new 2250 GBR out yesterday on canandaigua lake. Wind was blowing and I could not get my fluke anchor to stick. Very annoying. I have read some forums on here and everyone says the box anchor is the answer. My question is what size. I have a 24ft tritoon. Any advise ?
Looking at a 2014 2250 GBR fully loaded with a 250HP Yamaha SHO, I have no idea what difference the prop does for the motor. Any suggestions on which one to use or what the benfits are of different props?
So if you guys your choice of any flooring what would you do? I was going to do full seagrass but now I am a bit skeptical. I thought that would have been a solid choice for the whole floor. I really appreciate all your input guys, extremely helpful and am very grateful for this forum.
I am doing a 2250 GBR tritoon with ESP. I figure the two captain chairs in the back can double as fishing chairs somewhat and with a little kid the counter tops will come in handy. I have never owned a boat so this forum has been helpful with some ideas. What kind of fuel mileage should I expect...
I am about to buy my first boat , a Bennington 2250Gbr. Should I do the 200hp or 250hp? Any other suggestions would be great. I Plan on doing a full Seagrass floor, is it worth it?
