I have a 21 SLX which is actually 21'10" with a 90 yamaha on it and I get to at least 5900 RPM and when I trim it I get 6000. Generally run about 26-27 MPH depending on the wind LOL. I do have the long shaft yamaha though.
We had the stock vinyl on our boat when we got it. Really did not like. Luckily we had issues with it or unluckily however you want to look at it so we had to send it back to the bennington factory during the winter after the first year on the water. The guy there was really pretty cool about it...
So finally made it out at night and yep the LED's make the green light turn a slight blueish color. I mean it still is green but it may be confusing while on the water although my experience is that a lot of boaters have no idea what the nav lights are for anyway:(. I am ordering some green led...
Check your intake. On my 2016 90 HP yamaha the part that surrounds the intake warped and caused the motor to starve for air. Couldn't get it to run above 4000 RPM. Not sure if that is your issue but it is one you can easily check off.
Yeah I just can't justify the extra money to the wife for lake maps when we rarely go to a lake and the lakes in my area are really not that big. If they had one with river maps that might be different!o_O I really just want the GPS part so that i can mark stumps on the river in case we are out...
I actually read yours. I don't need a chart plotter but it seems those are about the same size as the ehco and was just wondering if you had to cut the hole bigger on helm?
Yeah I am not worried about the wiring and stuff. I was more interested in how the new finder fit in the hole of the old...
We store ours at the place were we put in at. It has a 8 ft fence around it and the owners live right there also. I have stored a boat there for 6 years and have never had an issue.
Well in a short 3 years the echo 101 depth finder on my boat has bellied up. All indication are that the temp sensor went out which then messes with the transducer. New transducer 69$ and a new echo 101 is 89$. So anyway I want to upgrade now but not sure if I can find something to fit in the...
Yeah that is what I have heard as far as the green lens. Initial test though it seemed green and the red also looked fine. The biggest complaint was they made the green light look a blueish. The old lights were white lights also so hopefully it will not make a difference. They were only 10 buck...
Just a heads up photobucket no longer allows third party hosting without paying. You can use https://postimages.org/. It works very similar and you can have an account or just do it with out.
So to those who have had this issue I went ahead and replaced both with an LED bulb which I will link to below. The thing i want to mention is just be careful taking the screw out for the actual light that goes into the deck. Apparently some one decided to use a longer screw which ended up...
