Most kids life jackets are very uncomfortable as they push up around their necks. We found the Stearns Puddle Jumper vests to work really well. Not sure if they are Coast Guard approved but they allow the child more mobility and very good buoyancy.

Got news this morning that the fireworks at Big Creek will be on Saturday evening instead of Sunday. Hope some of you guys can make it over. Its as good of show as Shell Knob and not near as crowded.

My buddy has a Pelican and they are pretty nice. We are having a cooler contest in July to see which one is best/better. I will update you with the results.
