We have the 2021 Bennington 23SSBXP SPS With Swing Back Lounger. 200HP Suzuki DF200ATXRSS2. I am at times both impressed and frustrated with the performance. I really wanted a 250 or 300HP, but you are adding weight with a motor that big as well. We bought what was in stock, so options were...
Really glad I found this post. Last two or three times out this year, I have noticed I can barely get gas to go into tank. Keeps tripping the nozzle as if it’s full. Gauge reads half full, but now I’m not sure. I need to try and find this vent and see if it’s clogged.
I’m glad to see someone else post this. I have noticed this same thing more this year than last. I have a 23SSBXP SPS and it seems to generate a ton of waves / turbulence from the rear of the boat under moderate power to WOT. I called the dealer this week to try and schedule a lake visit with...
Getting ready to add Wetsounds Stealth 10 and probably amp for the speakers. Can’t decide under helm or under rear lounger. I tend to use helm storage a lot. Hate to give that up.
Can you say which way you have it facing? Did you test different directions? Was planning under rear lounger, but under helm would be more central and easier to wire. Last question, how did you route power wire to battery?
People have crossed oceans on less capable watercraft. The limits are what you feel comfortable with. I would only be on a lake that big in ideal weather, mainly because I bring people with me and would never want to put anyone in danger or make them sick. My Yelp score would drop like a rock!
Funny thing, I was comparing the cost all year to the cost of renting per day (about $450 most local Marina’s), so we sqeaked under that number, but hard to put a price on those memories.
Believe me. I thought twice, but honestly if the water is not too crazy and weather is good it’s really fun. I would never get too far from shore... you have to respect that lake!
