Furuno 1st Watch radar for Benny!!

Have you looked at the navionics app. I have it on my phone and use it as a backup to my GPS on the boat. It has nearly every lake in the nation for $15.

Super Siphon / Shaker Siphon not working

I won't be able to get any pictures for a couple of weeks, but here are the the parts I used (gas nozzle and the threaded hose barb adapter). I used an aluminum hose barb adapter but you could use galvanized. Simply put some teflon tape on the fitting and screw it into the gas nozzle and then...

Super Siphon / Shaker Siphon not working

To make the siphon stay put while adding gas, buy a gas nozzle (automatic if you want truly hands free) and a threaded fitting to fit the gas nozzle on one end and a hose barb to fit your siphon hose on the other end. Once these are put together you have an instant off by releasing the gas...

Anyone try cell signal booster to improve cellular reception?

You can get much cheaper ones. The one I got was supposed to be more powerful. I don't feel that I got my money's worth!

Anyone try cell signal booster to improve cellular reception?

Any of the honest booster companies will tell you that you have to have a signal to boost. If you have nothing or a very very weak signal then a booster will either not help or not help very much. I have a weboost directional antennae at home. I got the directional because it is supposed to be...

    My turn: Leaking Pontoon

My 2018 had a leak at the rear of the starboard log. It made the back side sit only a few inches out of the water. I was worried just getting it from the lift to the trailer. That being said, I don't think it would have sunk because of the leak, but I would not have wanted to use it the way it...

    My turn: Leaking Pontoon

From my very limited welding experience (not on aluminum), the actual weld is typically the strongest part. The area around the weld will crack before the weld, if it's a good weld. However, any flexing or movement will obviously stress a weld and the areas adjacent to the weld. I'm not saying...

    Prop test data

I'm really lucky to have a knowledgeable dealer that can put the correct prop on for the boat/motor combination. The 2 boats I've bought from him hit 5900 to 6000 rpm with a light load with the first prop He supplied. He also owns a bennington as well. So, I'm sure that helps.

    My turn: Leaking Pontoon

My first boat had a pontoon leak. It was welded to fix it for the summer while a new log was being shipped. The welding job that fixed my boat for the summer held up great, but my leak was in one spot and a lot easier to fix. Hopefully you can have it fixed by a good welder really quick.

    Kicker KMC10 question

Looks like a fun day and a great sound improvement is coming. I hope everything goes smoothly.

    Kicker KMC10 question

Depending on what size amp powers the sub, you will likely need more amperage than what an accessory switch will have. I ran a 4 guage wire for my amp and a either a 40 or 60 amp fuse between the amp and the battery. I used the rear amp outputs.

    Battery Draining Quickly

You could add a battery disconnect switch near the battery. You can then turn the battery switch to on or off. If you have dual batteries you can select 1, 2, 1+2, or off. They are pretty easy to install. Here is a link to one...

    Shale stone interior color

I agree with the statement above. I had a 2018 with sand stone colored seats. It was a light beige color.

    Boat Lift

I leave mine down if gone for the day. When I take the boat out for more than a day the lift is raised out of the water.

    1st Time Buyer

Awesome looking boat! I have a swing back as well. You will really like that configuration, and with a 150 you should hit low 40s with a light load.

    Engine suggestions in a hurry

You will be close, but maybe a shade under 35 mph with a full boat and tubing. I have a Yamaha 150 and with 8 adults and pulling a tube, 31 to 32 is max. This is plenty fast enough for me (most of the time I'm in the 28 mph range pulling a tube if its teenagers on it. If you want to run 35 mph...

    Swingback Issues

I would say that is a warranty issue, but one that a dealer could handle fairly easy.

    New Owner on Clarks Hill

I agree on the small box anchor. I'm on a mucky bottom, but think it would work on clay too.

    Great weekend!

Wow, that's a lot of debris. Hopefully it clears up soon and has gotten rid of most of it for the year.

    Great weekend!

Sorry to hear that. We actually needed some rain and got nearly 2 inches Friday night which put some debris in the water, but it wasn't too bad. Then we had sunny skies the rest of the weekend. Hopefully you can have nice weather very soon!
