We placed our order on December 12, 2020 and dealer said we should expect an April 2021 delivery. Dealer has indicated that the order has been received by Bennington, but we have not yet received any notification to confirm order configuration for production scheduling.
I will update when my lift is delivered and installed. Am replacing a v-hull Classic Boat Floater lift with a Hydrohoist tritoon lift, probably around end of April after boat is delivered.
Finally able to speak directly with a Bennington Service Representative and he recommends that the bunks should be 3/4 of the tube lengths. They should be v-cradles and the center tube should be supported with a v-cradle.
Seems that no one really knows what's the proper length for boat lift bunks. I wanted to convert my v-hull Boat Floater lift to tritoon, only to find out not possible and must buy a new lift. Dealer says that bunks need to run entire length of outside toons and don't need bunks for center tube...
Looks like I'm in the same boat, will have to replace my Classic Boat Floater with a new lift. Too bad, initially thought I had someone lined up to do the conversion, but there is just not enough space between the pitman arms to support a conversion. Will give Craigslist a try to sell the...
Yes, I did see this on their website and contacted local dealer to see about getting parts/components to do the conversion. After they talked to the manufacturer, I was then told a conversion would not work, that I needed to purchase a new lift. Their reason was that there would not be enough...
Is anyone using a Classic Boat Floater lift in a 20' wide slip for a Bennington tritoon? If so, how are you protecting the toons from the possibility of hitting one the pitman arms? - Thanks
Does anyone have a Classic Boat Floater lift inside a 10' wide slip opening that supports a Bennington tritoon? If so, how are you protecting the toons from potentially hitting one of the pittman arms? Thank You
Thank you for your feedback/thoughts. Will have a 300 on our Bennington, so makes sense to have some center tube support. Will contact my lift manufacturer and lift service contractor to see what they recommend, as I'm sure they served other tritoon owners. - Thanks
Thanks all for the great feedback. Interesting that there are so many different views on this. With the population of tritoons and various boat lifts, you would think that there would be published specifications for the proper bunk configurations. Seems that whatever is being used to configure...
Just posted this on another thread. "Have a 24LXSR with ESP tubes on order and need to covert the carriage on my boat lift from v-hull to tritoon. My dealer says the boat lift only needs to be supported by the outer tubes, no center tube support needed, and that the bunks need to run the entire...
Have a 24LXSR with ESP tubes on order and need to covert the carriage on my boat lift from v-hull to tritoon. My dealer says the boat lift only needs to be supported by the outer tubes, no center tube support needed, and that the bunks need to run the entire length of the tubes. Am curious to...
I did check out the drawing provided here, which appears to be for support spacing when on the ground. Am looking for how to configure boat lift bunks on a boat lift for ESP tubes.
How do the keels, performance foils, and lifting strakes on the tubes, influence how the bunks on a boat lift need to be configured? Hope this helps clarify my question, is there any special need in supporting the ESP tubes when on a boat lift?
