22sfx buying tips

Anyone have a 22sfx with 150 hp motor? I have a 2003 2275 Fsi and would like to replace it with a Bennington with the same amount of interior space. How are the deck lengths measured? I noticed the 22sfx has a deck overhang in the front. Does this factor into the stated


deck length?

I have a 2013 22 SFX with a stated deck length of 19' 11" and that measurement includes the overhangs. My pontoon (25") length is 21'6" so they stick out 7" beyond the bow deck.  The new 22 SFX claims a deck length of 21'6" and a pontoon length of 21'4", 2 inches shorter than the deck.  I have only one fishing seat in the port stern and no lifting strakes.  


I have the 90 4 stroke and I am getting about 26mph by gps at 6000rpm with full tank (21 gal) with my wife and me aboard.  I have a 3 blade Solas aluminum prop, 13.75" x 13 pitch.


The new model 22 SFX is obviously heavier.   I just added a new trolling motor that I have not yet tested.  Details in prev post and gallery if interested.   Mike
