Question: If the digital “fuel remaining” says 32%, is that of the 24 total or the 21.4 usable?
Thank you.

Take a 5 gallon can of gas along and run tank down till she shuts off, or tank is almost empty. That’s really the only absolute way to know. Does your gauge have a calibration option?

Thank you.
If documentation is correct should run out with 2.6 (24-21.4) gal in the tank. Key will be does the digital "fuel remaining" read close to 0% (based on available volume - 21.4 gal) or close to 10% (based on the total volume - 24 gal).
I believe calibration is available; will look deeper into same.

While I have not been able to find documentation; I believe I have found "Benni's" solution to my quandary.
For the first time, I filled the tank "full" at the pumps. Upon getting on the water I immediately checked the digital "fuel remaining" which read, not 100%, but 88%. It appears they have accounted for the 2.6 gallons unavailable by subtracting 12% from the beginning or full tank "fuel remaining". (i.e. 2.6/24=10.83%, rounded up for safety to 12.0%)
End result, I will be out of usable fuel at 0% digital "fuel remaining".

Thanks for the follow-up as it will be helpful to others!
