What is the battery connections in the front of my 01 Bennington used for? Thanks in advance.

Could they be for a trolling motor ?

It could be but never been a trolling motor on it. Is it for night lights? Right now everything runs great on a single battery. Auxiliary battery maybe?

What model do you have? Typically it would be for a ”trolling” battery as Jack said. It’s also possible that in 01 they just put the second battery up front for weight distribution.

You can contact Bennington with your hull ID ,and they may be able to help .
Could be awhile though for them to reply , they are currently shutdown .
