Battery Issues 2017 Bennington SX22

My 2017 Bennington will drain a battery completely down if I do not run it for a few weeks. I never had this happen on my 2000 Bennington or any other boat I have owned. I am having a battery switch installed but still wonder what is draining the battery when everything is off.

I've never had this happen to mine. I don't have a switch and am still on the original battery. That would be frustrating for sure.

I'm leaning towards that the battery itself is failing. If everything is indeed turned off, the battery should not be completely drained within a couple of weeks.

The memory in the radio is a draw. Our radio memory was hardwired to the battery bypassing the switch and we had a dead battery.

Something isn’t right (obviously). I never turn my power off (other than the key) all summer with nary the problem you describe. Sometimes she’ll sit unused two weeks or more (horror!). Good luck!
