Anyone seen this before? First I've seen/heard, and not sure on the date this was posted...

CRAZY! I've searched about a million times 'Bennington Review' and never seen this! When you scroll to the bottom it shows 2012, and it shows a US contact info. TB any words on this?

Interesting, and I believe one of the manuals in my package when I picked up the pontoon last Saturday was a manual named Deck Boats and Pontoons, dealing with boat safety.

I've seen them before, but i don't think they make them anymore.

If i recall correctly, Bennington teamed up with a fiberglass hull manufacturer and produced those deck boats for a couple of years, apparently it didn't work out.

Maybe they felt their efforts would be better spent making the best pontoon you can get ;)

Oh wow, this is an oldy but goody! Bennington produced fiberglass deck boats (RL210 and RL211) between 2004 and 2008, if TB moves the cobwebs aside to recall correctly. They were dynamite little boats in both outboard and stern drive configurations...super smooth running shallow-draft hull and a luxurious Bennington-style interior. Eventually, we realized we'd have to go big or go home, and we decided to concentrate our efforts on aluminum hulls. Once in a while you'll see a Bennington deck boat out and about, especially in Florida. We're still proud of those boats, even after shelving the project. TB

Bought a RL210 last year and the boat is incredible. Previous owner took really good care of it. Trying my hardest though to find a ski pole for it. Job well done and I bet if these were brought back they would sell like hotcakes.

Let’s see some photos! If it says Bennington on it we love it.

Here she is when we bought her.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Looks like a neat little deck boat. We briefly looked at deck boats when weighing a pontoon vs. a traditional speed boat when we got our cottage. With a shallow lake, we thought they might be a nice option. That said, ended up with our Bennington Tritoon instead.

Great looking deck boat, still in great shape. Own 2 Hurricane decks before buying my Benny 21 SLXP last year. Have to say I really liked my decks but I love my Benny!

I purchased a 2005 Bennington 211 RL last year great boat, although mine does not have a windshield currently I am looking for one if anyone has a lead on where I can purchase a windshield that would be great!
Thanks

please excuse my dumb question. What is the advantage of a Fiberglass Hull Vs a Aluminum Pontoon, We have a fiberglass deck boat on our lake its got a black fiberglass hull and the thing is huge. I cant say it looks great and when I see It I cant help ask WHY? Is it faster? Soother ride? just wondering the Up keep has got to be more. Not trying to hate. IMO as long as your on the water enjoying yourself your winning

This company should be able to help you. I've dealt with them before and their service is top notch.

Here's the 2005 RL 211 in all its glory :)

Wow that thing looks new. Someone took very good care of it!

I recently bought a 2004 Bennington rl251 deck boat. It has a merc 350 mag MPI engine and a Bravo 3 outdrive. I can't seem to find any specs or manuals on this boat. do any of you have any ideas?

Congratulations on the new boat. I do not know anything about them, but wanted to welcome you to the forums.

The Bennington Allure boats were the most beautiful deck boats on the retail market. They just didn't sell well which tells me they were much more expensive than Hurricane which controls that market segment. We've seen a number of pontoon owners that switched to deck boats for the speed and efficiency--only to see them quickly come back to pontoons for the room, comfort and much better ride.
