Blotchy Pontoons, please help.

Bought my first NEW pontoon boat last year. Living on a pond the water stains are kind of bad. Went to my local marina this week and was told to use On&Off which will get 90% of the muck off, then apply Toon-Brite for the rest.

Used an airless sprayer to uniformly cover the pontoons with On&Off. The marina was right. 90% of the muck was gone, looked great. I then did the same thing with the Toon-Brite. That was a BIG mistake.

Not sure what to do. I called the marina where I purchased the boat and they said it was treated with Sharkhide at the factory. They suggest I use a lacquer thinner to remove everything and start over. I tried lacquer thinner and even acetone on the underside but did nothing, at all, even to the areas I did not clean.

Not sure how to get rid of this blotchy problem.

Any Ideas?

Sanded/polished and then ceramic coated or shark hide reapplied...

Yikes! I think you got poor advise from your dealer. With Sharkhide, I wouldn't have done anything other than wiping it down or spraying it off at the car wash.
