Bow Gates

I bought a 20 footer with the fishing package. The bow gate is set up with a large opening for a trolling motor. Is it possible to get a regular gate with a smaller opening? We have 3 smaller dogs, and would like to take them along on the boat without worrying whether they might slip out under the gate
