greetings everyone! Got a question for people smarter than me!

We recently purchase a used Benny 2050GL. Awesome condition and very well maintained. The only issue is our Bimini top is extremely faded. It’s one of those things that bugs me. The top is actually in very great shape, just faded and with fade lines where it was stowed but not covered.

Rather than buy a new one, can I just dye this thing back to a deep green? Anyone ever done, or heard of this?

Toad.......about 4 or 5 years ago I inquired about having my playpen cover dyed. It was still in good shape but was really faded. The bimini top is made out of the same material but was put in the boot when we put the boat away so it wasn't faded at all. Anyway I had 2 upholstery shops in Virginia tell me that they wouldn't or couldn't dye the material because it was made out of a synthetic material and the dye wouldn't adhere......Check out this link http://www.pburch.net/dyeing/dyeblog/C1084792486/E20080430164327/index.html
