I do not have a speedometer on my boat by do have a tack. Is there a quick formula to convert RPM's to MPH. Or is there a gauge available for a Bennington that does both?

No formula would exist. Too many variables. Get an app on your phone. Our speedometer has not worked for years and don't care. After a few times checking your speed you will have a good idea of what speed you are at by the RPM

you have a fish finder? Bennington's use the GPS on that. I have the little Striker 4 on my boat

Down load a gps app on your phone and it will tell you how fast your going.

I downloaded an app simply called "Speedometer" from the app store. All it has is the speed in big white numerals on a black background. Dead simple. The only adjustment is choice of mph or km/h or knots. Nothing else for me to screw up when the sunlight is so bright you can't see what you've just inadvertently changed. Free with some barely noticeable ads at the bottom.

The speedometer apps are cool. They also tell your time out, distance traveled and top speed.
