I am new to the Bennington family and found this forum caulk full of useful information. My wife and I recently purchased a 2021 22' SSBX and really excited for Spring. From my understanding, the new 2021 mooring cover only covers the play pen. With that being said, have others seen premature wear on the vinyl flooring that is exposed to the elements whether that be from rain, sun or snow?

On My 2014 with the vinyl floor I only cover the furniture with individual covers and don’t use the playpen cover. My vinyl floor doesn’t look any worse for wear. I do have it shrink wrapped for the winter.

My bow is covered but the stern is open and appears no worse for wear.

No need to cover the rear swim platform unless you store things back there that you need protected from the elements. The flooring Bennington uses is premium quality and there is no need to cover just to protect the flooring.

My experience so far mirrors those shared above. My extended aft flooring is about 60% exposed when my mooring cover is on. After four years it still looks brand new.
