Full suspension boat prototype

I don't normally re-post from other forums but this one is just too hard to resist... You LOTO guys can now laugh at all those giant cruiser wakes!

Check out this capability demonstration of a full suspension "pontoon" style boat from Nauti-Craft Marine in Australia.

It is very clever engineering and the possibilities are endless - think offshore oil platforms, search and rescue, ferries, military ops, etc. but maybe some day it could trickle down to pleasure craft.

Don't send your money just yet, as doubtless you'll need a ton of it when the time comes, but one can dream.

That is interesting. Reminds of running a long arm off road suspension system. I wonder if the inventor was a four wheeler/off road person and enjoyed boating.

Moving forward got the basic version of this option from the Bennington factory but he decided to lock it out lol.   And all this time we were using the gas struts for nothing but lifting our privacy enclosure, who knew.........
