Beautiful lake, and on the first day out, I’ve already lost another anchor. :D It got tangled on the rock below. Now, does everyone understand why I don’t buy those $100-200 anchors? :) Going to put in the river below the Spillway, today, and cruise along Branson.
The group at the table were pulling up to the dock at the same restaurant as us. We got to talking, and the asked us to join them. They were from Illinois. Had a great two hours with them.

Great pics! Looks like a great trip? How long are you guys there for? It's amazing how the bottom of your toons /below the water line are cleaner than the top.......One more thing......My Digger anchor is designed to release if caught or stuck on something. All you have to do is pull directly over the anchor and pull straight up. It will release.......I've had it for 12 seasons now.

We got there last Saturday evening, and just got back home about an hour ago. Worn out.

15 Pound Fresh Water Anchor

May 16, 2017

Ideal for 40 foot boats, pontoons, sailboats.

The world class "Digger" boat and pontoon anchor gets the job done right the first time. Not only will this anchor hold your boat where you put it, it also holds 300% better then other anchors. The Digger Anchor has unique grabber cleats that put constant downward pressure on the flukes to set fast and keep digging down, even in rough conditions. When it's time to head back for land, simply raise the anchor off the lake bed and give a slight jerk on the anchor rope. This allows the flukes to drop down - leaving the mud, sand, and weeds in the water
