Hate to see summer end!

Just got done pulling the boat, 48 degree water temp with air temp of 37. Had to get in the water to clean off the feet of the sea legs so they’d clear the guides on the trailer......not fun!:(
Forgot to mention that once the motor warmed up I got 33.5 mph at 5900 rpm coming across the lake. Fastest speed I’ve ever seen on our boat!:D

Well if it makes all you Southerners feel better, we put the winter tires on the Caddy the other day!! :( we had a lot of rain that then turned white on the first. It snowed two more days, that wet slushy snow. Took me four tries to get up the loading ramp at the hospital with my work van. Finally had to turn off the traction control and let the tires spin like a little old lady leaving a slippery stop sign at 3/4 up the ramp!! A lot has melted and I really hope it isn't sticking around too much longer, but temperatures are a high of 5-6 degrees Celsius for the foreseeable future.

Way too early!!

It’s crazy here in Pa., supposed to hit 80-81 this afternoon. Trees haven’t even really started to change colors.
Dealer called the other day to schedule the pull for last week of the month .... :(

Dropped ours off at the dealer yesterday ,all of 42 degrees on the 45 minute ride over .
Here is 1 of the 5 trees that fell on the river from a storm earlier in the week . Some of the other boats were not as lucky .View attachment 23460 View attachment 23459
Yeah, we had 10K customers without power in Northern Michigan after that storm. Obviously, a pretty hard blow...

Well it got up to about 81 today, water was 74. Went ahead and did one last scrub of the toons for the season. Water was a little chilly at first but after a couple minutes it felt pretty good. Good thing the sun was out and strong today .... ;)

We will have a brief flirt with summer temps this week up here in CNY but the boat is already put away for the season and camp is closed. Next year will bring some new fun and a few changes (hopefully). :)

No, not a case of PADS brewing. Perhaps a change in boating location.

The past 6 weeks have been terrible here . So the dealer is power washing mine before storage and reapplying Sharkhide in the spring .

Our temps have been great here in eastern Ohio, but this Friday will be 59! Dealer coming to get her on that day.

When Mother Nature says I’m done being nice ....

Been in the 80's and humid here. Actually kind of sticky. Took the boat out on Friday just a gorgeous day. Water was calm and still relatively warm. My daughter is coming in next Sunday. She wants to ski on her birthday the 16th. Then we'll prob take it out the following Friday. It was a good season!!!

October 21: Sunday afternoon and then sunset on Lake Conroe (TX). Moderate to light breeze, 70 degrees. After weeks of rain it was nice to get out...

Another safe season in the books! Boat looks great!
Thx! Interior still looks new. Some of the anodized aluminum is showing it's age. But all in all it's in great shape for a 14 yr. old boat.......IMG_20181019_114906320.jpg
