She def took a hit. Water inside the toon is never good. If she’s in the water I would pull her.

There shouldn’t be any water in the storage area. Since it is brand new, there may be some “left over” water from a rain when it was uncovered or from a dealer washing before delivery. If that is not the case, you may have a leaky toon. My 17 Swingback had one. Seems like there have been several others noted on here for new boats.

My center nose cone is full of water, ski locker was bone dry.. funny how machine I believe welds toons except nose cone that is where a person welds and it appears all 3 front nose cones have water. Does anyone kno how the chambers r? Meaning how many chambers and where they start and stop?

I just bought and took delivery Friday should i request new boat? Lol. Definitely not to happy about welded up toon on brand new boat 3-4 days old

You should be able to see the vertical welds along the pontoons, each is a chamber, I think 3 including nose cone. The pictures you show with the "tear" is just a cosmetic finishing piece. I can't remember how they did the bend on mine. On my second boat I used to get a little water in the center storage, but only when doing hard power turns and tubing all day. It wasn't very much either. Sorry to hear you are having all this trouble.

Yeah im not so much bothered by the poor tear as the nose cones being full of water. The welds look terrible on the nose cones. I have found 2 burn holes in them not sure if water is coming in there but in a few hours my center nose cone basically filled up all way.

But man she ran good and looks good lol.

Sorry you are having these problems. I would definitely be on the phone to the dealer and show him these pictures. One of my pet peeves is when you spend a lot of money it shouldn’t be to much to ask to simply get what you pay for without problems. Alas it just doesn’t seem to happen; houses, cars, boats, any big ticket item. I guess it’s just too much to ask.
