Here We Go Again ?

Last year in The Pittsburgh Tri-State we had more rainfall than any other time in Recorded History !! Last year we were only able to get on Benny a total of four times due to rain and life in general. This year so far we are already over last years total for May !! Benny will be delivered on Thursday May 16th as rain is predicted (lol) So much for giving it a good once over to see all work is complete. All we can do is hope that the constant deluge ends and we can enjoy Benny on a daily basis.
Here's hoping where ever you are in The World of Bennington my hope is you have an AMAZING BOATING SEASON and MAKE A MILLION MEMORIES to last a lifetime.

For different reasons, I feel your...frustration. I probably am not going to be boating this year, so I’ll be living jealously, I mean vicariously , through all of you. Thus, I want your boats in the water, stories of great times boating, to placate my longing.

Vikingstaff, I’m sorry to hear that for whatever reason you will not be able to boat this year. That’s a reminder to me to be thankful for what I have, and to not take for granted simple things like being on our Bennington with my wife.

The Rain Continues
We were on Benny once so far this Season ... Memorial Day ...
Rain held off till the evening hours
Hoping tomorrow will be my second time as a break in the Deluge happens
Did a River / Dinner Cruise in The City and Loved it

Not once here in Missouri as are lake is effectively closed with the lake being up 34 feet! Floods everywhere here.

3 TIMES NOW!!!! WOOHOO! Please stop raining! 2018 was the wettest year in recorded history for my area, 2019 seems to be saying "Hold my beer"!!!!

Because of the rain this spring, today will be the first day I take the cover off the Ohio boat. We are going to Canada with it next week. I need to splash it today to test all systems. Looking out the window just now, I saw a bright light. Is that what sunshine looks like?

We go for 2 weeks on Manitoulin Island. There will be 23 family members this year in camp. 4 generations. The bass fishing is usually good. We will have 3 fish fries the second week. The season opens this week. Our family has gone to the same lake consecutively since 1946. Cousins go out a 6 am, our boat leaves by 10 if lucky with 10 to 12 people, then back by 1 for naps for the littles. Group dinner and then Euchre and popcorn if I make it. Nobody else must know how!
It is a great family tradition.
