We use our boat as the primary hangout spot on our lake's "redneck yacht club" so people are always climbing in and out using the boarding ladder. I bring the boat up on the sea legs so the bottoms of the toons are just barely in the water (see pic - our boat is in the middle with the Yammy & Turbo Swing). Depending on water depth, it made for quite a first step with the Windline 3 step ladder so I installed a 4 step telescoping ladder about a week and a half ago. I searched for a ladder that would fit in the existing frame with little to no modification and came across one that fits almost perfectly. I did have to drill out the mounting holes to reuse the Windline hardware. The new ladder was slightly narrower so I used the 6 Windline nylon washers (2 in, 1 out on each side) and drilled out 2 of the provided nylon washers for the nut side. I can't vouch for the long term durability of the ladder but so far, with very heavy usage while we were on vacation the last 9 days, it's held up well. The brand is YaeMarine and it was $62.60 delivered on Ebay.
