MinnKota Electric on Bennington Pontoon

I purchased the 80# 24V MinnKota with iPilot GPS. It came with plugs for power disconnection, w/ gauge upgrade, the remote fob, remote foot pedal and a quick release bracket. All of it is brand new.


Im just trying to decide how to mount it under the deck with the mounting footprint rotated 90 degrees so that the motor is parallel to the bow when stowed. I'm not interested in having it mounted on the deck and through the front door when not in use.


Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I am interested in seeing if you were able to make this happen... I would like to have an ipilot mounted somewhere that is not on the deck where people will be... considering how to mount it on the rear port side Tube

Been boating for a long long time. The electric you are looking at is perfect for your needs. Got one myself. I would strongly suggest you mount it on the front SIDE not the center. It will be out of the way and you can shut front gate. Get detachable mount. Do search on this site for more info. Works great
