Those mini torches are awesome. I use them for all my wire soldering projects. Instantaneous heat instead of holding a soldering iron on the wires. I have a cheap one that uses disposable plastic lighters, it works better than my high dollar soldering iron!

Do you remember where you got the ones that use disposable lighters? I'm interested. The ones kaydano linked sound temperamental from the reviews.

I think I got it at Harbor Freight, but I’m not positive. Been a few years. I also have a refillable butane one from BernzOmatic.

Yup just there yesterday for socket adapters... didn’t see the torches, now they have refillable type.
