My digital faceplate on my stereo is blank so I cannot find my iPod setting.

My digital faceplate on my stereo is blank and I cannot find the setting for my iPod. Also the wire for the iPod is north connecting. Any ideas?

I'd check for a blown fuse on the back of the head unit, or a breaker that may have tripped. If it has a removable faceplate (theft deterrent type) then check to make sure it is seated properly. Other than that, I'm clueless. Might be time for a new head unit.
