New Benny owner with some questions.

The only time my batteries are ever disconnected is in the fall when they are pulled for the winter. Then they are on battery maintainers in the garage until spring. My perko switch is in a convenient location otherwise I would consider the relay

I'm a bit electronically challenged (okay, a lot) so can you tell me, does an ACR take the place of a perko switch or is it used in combination with one?

On a side note, two of my brothers are master electricians so you know who got all the brains...

I would say no. However, I'm not a fan of the Perko multi battery switch either. I've always liked simple on/off switches for each battery installed. That allows me to easily choose which batteries are being drawn on by the "house" loads and whether or not the batteries can see each other for group charging via the motor alternator. Simpler than diodes, more selectable by me.
