Is there a trick to removing the double head Philips fasteners used on the fence and Bimini top frame? I need to repair a fence rail and I can not take the fasteners apart.

No trick, they just unscrew.

I think they have a little loctite in them so have fun.

Should be a #3 Phillips and yes they have a little lock tite on them as I’d had a couple out. Make sure you’re using a number 3 bit or you’ll waste the screws. I used a Milwaukee 12v 1/4” impact driver for my stuff without and issue. If you think you need heat just use a blow dryer on high or be careful with a heat gun as you can discolor the aluminum. Obviously no open flame!

I question many things Bennington does. Loctite and Phillips head screws? I know they hate DIYers.
Thanks for your reply.

It’s minimal, mine actually came loose with a few high speed runs and shake.
