Hi - we boat on the ottawa river - marina 10 min from our home in Pembroke Ontario 100 miles west of Ottawa - we can cruise about 6 hours one way if desired - great scenery- province of Quebec is on other side of river - can have a beer on the boat when docked on that side

My BIL found out what having beer (not drinking just in the cooler) on your boat costs in Ontario Canada. $95 per beer.

Yeah strict laws up here - boating and drinking laws are exactly the same as vehicle drinking and driving in Ontario ( laws vary in some provinces) I can not have a beer on the boat even when the boat is docked in my slip at marina - you can have a beer in your boat when docked across the river on Quebec side though

Where we boat, every passenger on board can have open containers except the captain!

Looks great, congrats!

Very Nice!!

She's a beauty! Thanks for sharing...

Where I boat in SC, every passenger and the driver can have open containers. If you don't have one, DNR will give you one.

(wink / wink!)

The first thing I said is actually true. No prohibition on drinking and driving a boat in SC. But they will obviously arrest you if you are over .08 BAC.
