playpen boat covers

lm 74, n have trouble putting my playpen cover on when the boat is in the water. My snaps fore n aft are on bottom edge of boat deck. I have plastic clips in between that go under middle rail. What is the easiest way to put the cover on.

Robert,
I had a nearby canvas shop trim the front playpen cover to stop at the front mid fence rails. It is now secured with snaps. The shop could have done clips or snaps. I now can step on and off the front of my boat with ease.
