radio beeping

Hey, sometimes when the motor is off and the radio is on it starts beeping through the speakers. I charged the battery, then tried another battery and it's doing the same thing. Someone told me it may be an alarm letting me know the battery is getting weak but I charged both batteries with an OLD trickel charger. Anybody have this problem before?

No, I haven't heard the radio beep but I have heard a beep that turned out to be the smart gauge telling me my lower unit needed gear lube, and another beep telling me that my depth was only 1ft. I was in the slip and it went back to 15ft after a short while. Maybe a big turtle was sitting under the back causing it to setoff the shallow alarm. Those are the only strange beeps that made me walk around the boat trying to find out what was happening.

My Radio battery beeps 3 times when I shut my accessory switch off which kills the power to the Garmin and Radio. This is the only time it has ever made me noise.
