Would appreciate suggestions on removing hard water spots from fence panels on 2012 SLi 24. Tests so far indicate very easy to remove factory paint as no clear coat.
Thanks,

Have you tried a good boat or car wax? I found this usually works.

I use Mothers spray marine wax

From my experience a good wax will not only remove but will help to prevent

I use Boat Bling Hot Sauce. Just spray on and wipe off.

Yup. Vinegar and water. I use 50/50. You have to give it time to soak though. Works slowly. I usually put in a few drops of soap to help it stick longer.

Spray on. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Then rinse after all that. Then wax if you are ambitious.

No doubt other products work faster, but nothing is cheaper if you have some time.

You can get a gallon of vinegar for $2 at Walmart. Vinegar stinks, but it's one of the best kept cleaning secrets. Same for bleach. Know what you are doing though.

Remember to thoroughly rinse vinegar it is a corrosive .

Will use the vinegar and water
Keeping in mind the corrosive possibilities Jack mentioned
And then follow up with the wax idea.
Hoping for the showroom new look
Thank you
