San Diego County Lakes

All,

My wife and I are new to boating. Our 2005 Bennington 2275FSI is our first boat. We are trying to find a lake in San Diego County that we can slip our boat for a few days do a little fishing and tow the tube around the lake for the kids. Any suggestions would be welcome.

California doesn't allow tubing on their inland water ways! That's what the Ranger/lake patrol told me after lighting me up on lake Elsinore, they told me to get the tube off the lake. You can use your tube on the Colorado river (Parker Az, Lake Havasu). Some lakes allow you to tow a tube at 5 mph or less in the no wake areas.
