Hello All,
I have completed my 2nd ever outing, proving that Bennington builds a strong craft. Managed to find two hidden logs and other debris at Smith Mountain Lake this weekend. No damage, going slow. However, bringing the boat into the slip is a challenge for a newbie. Light winds and a very narrow slip pose a problem. I am looking to install bumpers on the piling post as an added precaution to my lack of experience :)

Looking for suggestions.

I use these from Amazon

You can see part of them in the pic

I use some lengths from West marine. Their catalog is on line. West Marine sells it in lengths up to I believe 8' and you can cut to any length you need. I put on all my pilings as well as most of my dock. It is cushioned in any place that could hit the boat..The lengths are handy as sometimes you need more and sometimes you need less especially if used vertical in a tidal area..
