Spring is Coming

I think I'm going to cut a hole in the ice this evening and see how much we have on our lake. I'm sure it will be depressing but then I'll know what I'm waiting for.
 
How thick is it ?
 
Didn't make it out there yet. Hopefully tomorrow.
 
Well I hope it is coming, Because the way it has going here in MN, this might be how we will be starting our fishing season. :mellow:

I was at the local watering hole last night ,I asked people there if they know how much ice ?

No one had a clue , and didn't even want to talk about it .

Bad in the Adirondacks as well. Two weeks ago someone who went ice fishing told me that our lake had 18" of ice.  Then this morning I heard Saranac Lake, a couple of hours north of our lake was -28 this morning, not wind chill actual -28.  Can't take much more
