Last Friday we stopped at Lookout Marine in Somerset KY to order a new trailer for the big boat. Talked to the general manager about his business this year. The most interesting comment was that if your engine had a problem, you might be done for the year. They have been in business for 40 years and with all their contacts they can not get any ignition modules or starters for O/B. If a Mercury part is ordered the order will not be processed for at least 14 business days. One boat manufacturer's seat supplier had 6 sick workers and are shut down for 2 weeks. Our trailer is 8 to 12 weeks out because of supply chain problems.

Lots of things we take for granted have been effected by the virus not just toilet paper.
We have all the family down to Lake Cumberland for next week because the Canada border is still closed and our rescheduled late August trip is iffy.
It not hard to social distance on a lake with 1,200 miles of shore line! Everybody stay healthy.

Wow. That's crazy. I'm sure the increased sales definitely don't help the strain on the supply chain either.

My biggest concern is that the inflated pricing due to all of this will become ingrained in the consumer as the "new norm" and they will never go back down after the problems clear up.

Yeah this has been a crazy year. Hopefully things get back to normal soon.
