While driving the boat down , the flap ripped a fastener off

He said they make those covers to trailer boat with 

Other problem is shore lander trailer has tears in rug where pontoon sits on rails

Dealer says that is going to happen 

Nothing can be done about that

Planned on my wife's name being on Boat

Dealer didn't do at Dealership

He attempted to do here, the wind caused the name to tear and wrinkle while attempting to place on 

He said when I bring it up in the fall he will put the name on for next year
 
Man, you deserve a discount, reimbursement, free upgrade, something...sorry to hear you are having such a rough time. Hopefully you will be rewarded for your patience with some good luck!

It has been a true nightmare 

BUT

Benny is here now and I will be going elsewhere for everything else

I think the Boat Show purchase was the

BIGGEST PROBLEM

I would never tell anyone to Buy at The Boat Shows 

Go. Look , Sit , Talk , Enjoy 

Never Buy 

Get A Card 

Go To The Dealer In Person for a True One On One

Just My Opinion

Once we are on the water and the experience fades from memory, I am sure we will be more excited

Yup you will forget all the bad stuff and start enjoying it. Remember though, it's just a boat. Don't sweat the small stuff and just ENJOY !!!

Just back from a late night cruise on the Lake 

It is amazing, the kids my son in particular wants to hang the Dealer 

He can not believe the entire ordeal

We bought an American Flag which dealer was to mount on boat for us

When he delivered it the flag and pole was on the floor of the Boat 

He said he didnt get a chance to mount and install

Said I could do it myself 

I replied I have no idea how to do that 

His reply ... you'll figure it out 

Then he was to include a bottle of 303 for cleaning upholstery

He said he must of forgot to place in boat , but he will mail me some when he gets a chance

I specifically asked that the boat be detailed

He said with the rain coming no need to do that 

Soooooooooooooooooo

There were many reasons for me not taking photos of interior 

Or being ultra excited 

But as my wife said 

There is a lesson in this , which I will never forget
 
Pittsburgh, Just focus on the big picture; you just got a Bennington pontoon. the finest pontoon in the world. 

Be done with that dealer with no sense of customer service, you obviously are not going to use him for service work.  If there is not another local Benny dealer then realize you will have to tow it for warranty work but for other work find a local marina that you are comfortable with, let them install the flag [that is what I did cuz the flag was an afterthought and I too felt uncomfortable mounting it as well] take care of the name and any other non warranty work.

Then put this all behind you as us relaxed retired guys can do and enjoy that Benny.  Oh and remember to stay thirsty my friend.
