THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS

We've had some flurries here on and off but no accumulation. Crazy how fast winter shows it's ugly face here in MI

We are 35 miles North West of Gaylord .No accumulation ( yet )

We are in Wixom now and like Lakeliving have only had flurries this morning - nothing sticking. Did have quite a bit of sleet yesterday afternoon that did cover the deck and patio but melted quickly.

We got about 4-5" of snow yesterday, drove out to my parents place (45 min) to put their winter tires on. Took the dogs for a little walk down by the beach and looked out at the water. I have nothing to countdown anymore. 20171104_105307.jpg20171104_105133.jpg

We got 6 inches of snow Saturday ,gone already

Today, in the South...

Good News, Bad News... Just got the notice in the mail yesterday that my slip fee invoice will abe sent out shortly and payment due by March 1 to keep my slip for this summer. So, I can lock in my slip for another year! Bad news... slip fee is going up 25% for current contracts, and going up 50% for newbies!!!! Somebody must think the economy is improving!!!!

If you don't mind me asking, what is the price of a slip in your neck of the woods?

Where in fl?

Where in fl?

Lake Wales about an hour south of Orlando. I live in a golfing community called Lake Ashton. We have a 600 acre lake but the only ramp is so narrow I’m not sure I will be able to launch the Benny. So our plans are to trailer to lakes and rivers, and of course the Keys.

We liked the Harris chain north or Orlando. The Dora canal looks pretty cool through there.
